Caroline and Justin’s big day was the epitome of a fairytale Texas wedding. The couple met while playing basketball and the rest is history. Their wedding cake and topper from The Cake Plate highlighted the couple’s story perfectly. The renowned wedding venue coupled with an irreplaceable group of Austin wedding vendors made for a day of effortless celebration. Our Austin wedding band, Uptown Drive especially enjoyed being the event entertainment for this July wedding. It was an honor to commemorate the newlywed’s new life together.

Life Of The Party
To point out Caroline and Justin we’re the LIFE OF THE PARTY! These two tore up the dance floor all night and as a result, their guests followed in suit. What fun it was to bring our high-energy variety band to one of our favorite wedding venues all in all. To begin with our Texas wedding band, Uptown Drive traveled through the genres. We played dance favorites from Motown, Soul, 80’s, 90’s 00’s as well as Today’s top 40.
Our band leader acts as emcee, therefore, helping to coordinate all customizations into our non-stop party sets. We equally enjoyed the entertainment of the guest’s enthusiastic dance moves which left a smile on our face. Furthermore, this allowed our 5+ year Austin wedding band to thoroughly enjoy the night to its capacity.
Austin City Limits
We’ve been lucky enough to play Mattie’s of Austin, Texas many times over the last few years. Not to mention the multiple times over this particular summer. Hence, we adore the venue! Its historic southern charm coupled with its modern updates make it second to none. You’ll love the rustic elegance of this venue that is within the Austin city limits. We highly recommend Mattie’s to all future bride and grooms as well as event planners.
In short, the venue was immaculately decorated. Crisp linens from Whim Hospitality covered the venue tables. In addition, the custom centerpieces and floral bouquets of ivory, peach, and blue were uniquely crafted by Jennifer Bowden Floral.

In brief, a wedding runs smoothly with the help of a wedding coordinator and planner. Caroline and Justin chose Texas-based event planning company Jitters and Cocktails to make their day stress-free. Jace Tietjens is the face behind Jitters and Cocktails. She is specifically detail-orientated to make sure your day is memorable for all the RIGHT reasons.
