Generally speaking, nothing competes with the energy & lightheartedness of our bride & groom, Jaime & David. This couple, alongside some of Texas’ top wedding vendors, was such a treat to work with. Our Austin wedding band, Uptown Drive, brought a consistent dynamic throughout the night. We performed non-stop dance medley’s & curated the party soundtrack of the evening. In fact, this party was so off the wall that as a result, the bride stage dove & landed in the arms of her wedding guests below. In short, this Dripping Springs, Texas wedding was one for the books! We loved being a special part of such a monumental day.

Texas Hill Country Venue

To clarify this is not our first time playing Camp Lucy & most certainly not our last. Camp Lucy is a one-of-a-kind premiere wedding & special event venue located in the rolling hills of Dripping Springs, Texas. Consequently, the venue’s picture-perfect backdrop & luxury accommodations make it a perfect destination wedding. The venue is especially significant due to it’s four unique wedding venues on sight. Jaimie & David’s big day took place at Camp Lucy’s Sacred Oaks venue. To point out, Sacred Oaks venue features a great hall with large timbers, a spacious porch, & uncanny sunsets. You’ll love the scenic drive in through the winding backroads of Dripping Springs to the 275-acre property. In general, our Austin wedding band loves every chance we get to play this pristine venue.

Another key point of Camp Lucy is that it is managed by Whim Hospitality. Whim Hospitality is a full-service wedding & special event vendor outside of Austin, Texas. In other words, they specialize in a family of services including catering, event/tent rentals, florals & venue management. The team at Whim Hospitality makes planning any event stress-free & easy. With attention to detail, an organized timeline coupled with a highly praised work ethic. Our Austin wedding band loved our time working together with Tara at Lotus Events. She did an impeccable job organizing the bride & groom’s cake cutting by Classic Cakes By Lori from Dripping Springs, Texas. Classic Cakes By Lori specialize in custom cakes for weddings & special occasions. All & all the cake was incredibly tasty.
